1. Introduction

Welcome to Olibaa. This Seller Policy explains the standards, responsibilities, rules and operating requirements that apply to sellers who list, promote or sell products through the Olibaa marketplace.

Olibaa aims to provide a reliable online marketplace where customers can discover useful products and sellers can operate their businesses within a clear, fair and transparent framework.

By registering as a seller, creating a seller account, publishing a product listing, accepting an order or otherwise using seller-related features of Olibaa, you agree to comply with this Seller Policy together with other applicable Olibaa policies, marketplace rules and legal requirements.

Sellers remain responsible for the products they offer, including product authenticity, quality, description, price, availability, packaging, delivery, warranty commitments and compliance with applicable requirements.

Important: Where applicable law imposes additional requirements or provides rights that cannot legally be excluded, those legal requirements will continue to apply.

2. Seller Eligibility

A seller must provide accurate, genuine and current information when creating and maintaining an Olibaa seller account.

Depending on the business and product category, Olibaa may request information such as:

  • Seller's full name.
  • Business or store name.
  • Phone number and email address.
  • Business address.
  • Identity information.
  • Business registration information where applicable.
  • Payment or settlement information.
  • Relevant product or business documentation.

Information provided to Olibaa must be genuine and either belong to the seller or be properly authorized for use.

3. Seller Account Security

Sellers are responsible for maintaining the security of their seller accounts.

Login credentials, passwords, one-time verification codes and administrative information should not be shared with unauthorized persons.

If a seller believes that unauthorized access has occurred, the seller should take reasonable steps to secure the account and contact Olibaa support as soon as possible.

Actions performed through a seller account may be treated as actions of the account holder unless there is sufficient evidence of unauthorized access.

4. Seller Responsibilities

Product Accuracy Ensure that titles, descriptions, images, specifications and variations accurately represent the product.
Product Authenticity Only offer genuine products that the seller has the right to sell.
Stock Management Maintain reasonably accurate stock quantities and avoid repeated out-of-stock cancellations.
Order Processing Prepare, pack and hand over customer orders within the applicable processing period.
Customer Support Respond professionally to relevant customer and Olibaa support requests.
Marketplace Compliance Follow Olibaa policies, category requirements and applicable legal requirements.

5. Product Listing Standards

Every product listing should provide enough accurate information for a customer to reasonably understand what is being purchased.

A good listing should include relevant information such as:

  • Clear product name.
  • Brand where applicable.
  • Model or product code.
  • Size or dimensions.
  • Material.
  • Color and available variations.
  • Product specifications.
  • Quantity included.
  • Compatibility information.
  • Warranty information.
  • Included accessories.
  • Important usage or safety information.

Listings must not contain materially false, deceptive, incomplete or misleading information.

6. Product Images

Product images should clearly and accurately represent the product being offered.

Images should not intentionally mislead customers regarding product size, quantity, condition, accessories, packaging, color or included items.

If multiple products appear in an image but only one product is included in the purchase, this should be clearly explained in the listing.

Sellers should use high-quality images wherever possible and avoid excessive overlays, misleading badges or unrelated promotional graphics.

7. Product Categories

Olibaa may support categories including:

Category Seller Consideration
Smart Gadgets Specifications, compatibility, warranty and genuine product information.
Computer Accessories Model, compatibility, connectivity and technical details.
Solar Power Equipment Electrical specifications, warranty and installation information.
Water Filters Filter type, capacity, replacement requirements and installation details.
Medical & Surgical Supplies Safety, expiry, authenticity, hygiene and applicable regulatory requirements.
Natural Products Ingredients, quantity, expiry, storage and accurate health-related claims.
Innerwear & Fashion Size, material, condition, variation and hygiene requirements.
Industrial Chemicals & Parts Grade, technical specifications, safety and handling information.
Books & Stationery Edition, author, publisher, language, quantity and genuine copyrighted materials.

8. Prohibited and Restricted Products

Sellers must not knowingly list illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, prohibited, stolen or unauthorized products on Olibaa.

Products may be restricted or removed where they:

  • Violate applicable law.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Present unacceptable safety risks.
  • Contain materially misleading claims.
  • Are counterfeit or falsely branded.
  • Require authorization that the seller does not have.
  • Violate Olibaa marketplace rules.

Olibaa may request invoices, supplier information, certificates or other documentation where authenticity or authorization needs to be verified.

9. Product Authenticity

Products sold as genuine branded products must be authentic.

Sellers must not intentionally substitute genuine products with counterfeit, imitation, unauthorized or materially different products.

Where a product is used, refurbished, open-box, renewed or otherwise not new, its condition should be clearly disclosed where such listings are permitted.

Generic products should not use unrelated well-known brand names merely to gain search visibility.

10. Pricing Policy

Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate product prices.

The displayed selling price should reflect the actual price customers are expected to pay, excluding separately disclosed charges where applicable.

Sellers should not intentionally use:

  • Fabricated original prices.
  • Artificial discounts.
  • Misleading promotional claims.
  • Hidden mandatory product charges.

Where sellers participate in a Flash Deal, coupon campaign or promotional event, they should confirm the promotional price and available stock before participation.

11. Inventory and Stock Management

Sellers should maintain reasonably accurate stock information.

Products that are no longer available should be updated or marked unavailable without unnecessary delay.

Repeated seller cancellations caused by inaccurate inventory may negatively affect seller performance.

Extra care should be taken during high-demand periods, Flash Deals, promotional campaigns and seasonal events.

12. Order Processing

When an order is received, the seller should verify the product, variation, quantity and relevant order information before preparing shipment.

The delivered product must reasonably match the product ordered.

A seller should not substitute a different model, brand, size, quantity, color or specification without appropriate customer approval where required.

If the seller cannot fulfill an order, the seller should use the applicable Olibaa cancellation or support process instead of marking an unfulfilled order as completed.

13. Packaging Standards

Sellers are responsible for packaging products appropriately for normal delivery handling.

Packaging should:

  • Protect products from reasonable impact and handling.
  • Reduce the risk of moisture damage where appropriate.
  • Secure liquids against leakage.
  • Protect fragile items.
  • Include all advertised components.
  • Preserve manufacturer packaging where reasonably important.

Where products include manuals, chargers, cables, adapters, mounting hardware or warranty cards, those items should be supplied as advertised.

14. Shipping and Delivery

Sellers should prepare confirmed orders within the applicable processing period.

Where Olibaa or an approved delivery partner manages logistics, sellers should follow applicable packaging, pickup, labeling and handover requirements.

Where the seller ships directly, accurate shipment and tracking information should be provided where available.

Sellers must not mark an order as shipped before the product has actually been handed over for delivery.

15. Returns and Refunds

Sellers must cooperate with Olibaa's applicable Return & Refund Policy.

Return situations may include:

  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Damaged product.
  • Verified manufacturing defect.
  • Missing advertised components.
  • Materially inaccurate product description.

Return eligibility can vary depending on product category, product condition, hygiene requirements, installation status and applicable return period.

Sellers must not attempt to avoid legitimate return requests by supplying misleading information or refusing to cooperate with a reasonable Olibaa review.

16. Warranty Responsibilities

If a seller advertises a warranty, the warranty information should be accurate and clear.

The listing should identify the applicable warranty type where relevant:

  • Manufacturer Warranty.
  • Seller Warranty.
  • Service Warranty.
  • Replacement Warranty.

Sellers must not advertise manufacturer warranty when no such warranty exists.

Applicable warranty commitments should be honored according to the conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

17. Medical & Surgical Supplies

Sellers offering Medical & Surgical Supplies should take additional care regarding product authenticity, expiry dates, storage, packaging, hygiene and safety.

Expired products must not be supplied to customers.

Where a product requires approval, registration, authorization or licensing under applicable rules, the seller is responsible for satisfying those requirements before offering the product for sale.

Unsupported medical claims should not be made.

18. Natural Products

Natural Products must be accurately represented.

Claims such as "organic," "clinically proven," "chemical-free," "certified," "herbal" or other health-related claims should only be used where appropriately supported.

Relevant information may include ingredients, quantity, expiry date, usage instructions, warnings and storage requirements.

19. Industrial Chemicals & Parts

Industrial product listings should contain accurate technical information.

Depending on the product, listings may need to include:

  • Grade.
  • Material.
  • Dimensions.
  • Technical specification.
  • Compatibility.
  • Model number.
  • Safety or handling information.

Chemical products should be packaged appropriately for their characteristics and applicable transport requirements.

20. Books & Stationery

Books should use accurate titles, author names, edition information, publisher information, language and product condition where relevant.

Unauthorized or pirated copies are not permitted.

Stationery listings should clearly describe quantity, size, material, color and included items.

21. Innerwear & Fashion

Fashion listings should include accurate size, color, material, style and variation information.

Where possible, sellers should provide useful sizing information to help customers select appropriate products.

Innerwear and other hygiene-sensitive products may have additional return restrictions after opening or use.

22. Customer Communication

All seller communication with customers must remain professional and appropriate.

Sellers must not:

  • Harass customers.
  • Use abusive or threatening language.
  • Send repeated unwanted promotional messages.
  • Misuse customer personal information.
  • Pressure customers to leave dishonest reviews.

Customer information should only be used for legitimate order, delivery, customer service or other permitted purposes.

23. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings are important marketplace trust signals.

Sellers must not:

  • Create fake customer accounts to review their own products.
  • Purchase fraudulent reviews.
  • Offer rewards in exchange for dishonest reviews.
  • Threaten customers regarding reviews.
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings unfairly.

Sellers may reasonably encourage customers to leave genuine and honest feedback.

24. Promotions, Coupons and Flash Deals

Olibaa may provide sellers with promotional opportunities such as coupons, Flash Deals, featured products and campaign participation.

Before participating, sellers should verify product prices, available inventory and campaign requirements.

Artificially increasing a product's price shortly before advertising a large discount may be considered misleading promotional behavior.

25. Seller Payments and Settlements

Seller payments may be subject to applicable settlement conditions.

These may include:

  • Successful order completion.
  • Delivery confirmation.
  • Return periods.
  • Refund processing.
  • Payment verification.
  • Marketplace fees or commission.
  • Payment disputes or reversals.

Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate payout information.

Olibaa may temporarily hold or delay a settlement where reasonably necessary to investigate a disputed order, suspected fraud, refund, payment reversal, account verification issue or significant policy concern.

26. Seller Fees and Commissions

Where Olibaa charges seller commissions, transaction fees, service charges, campaign fees or other marketplace fees, the applicable amount or calculation method should be communicated through the seller agreement, seller dashboard or relevant marketplace information.

Sellers are responsible for reviewing applicable charges before participating in optional marketplace services or campaigns.

27. Order Cancellation

Sellers should avoid unnecessary order cancellations.

Reasonable cancellation reasons may include:

  • Unexpected stock unavailability.
  • Significant listing error.
  • Inability to fulfill the order.
  • Verified payment issue where applicable.
  • Customer-requested cancellation when permitted.

Frequent seller cancellations may negatively affect seller performance.

28. Transactions Outside Olibaa

Sellers should not intentionally divert customers away from Olibaa in order to bypass applicable marketplace processes, protections or fees.

Sellers must not misuse customer contact information to move marketplace transactions outside Olibaa without an appropriate permitted reason.

Transactions completed outside Olibaa may not receive the platform protections available for marketplace transactions.

29. Intellectual Property

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that listings do not unlawfully infringe copyright, trademark, patent, design or other intellectual property rights.

Product photographs, logos, packaging, illustrations, manuals and marketing materials should only be used where the seller has a lawful right to use them.

If Olibaa receives a credible intellectual property complaint, the relevant listing may be restricted while the matter is reviewed.

30. Product Safety and Recalls

If a seller becomes aware that a product is unsafe, defective, recalled, contaminated, incorrectly labeled or otherwise presents a significant customer safety concern, the seller should stop offering the product and contact Olibaa where appropriate.

Sellers should cooperate with reasonable recall, removal, refund, replacement or customer notification processes.

31. Seller Performance Standards

Olibaa may evaluate seller performance using relevant factors such as:

  • Order fulfillment rate.
  • Seller cancellations.
  • Late shipment.
  • Listing accuracy.
  • Customer complaints.
  • Return and refund issues.
  • Product authenticity concerns.
  • Seller communication.
  • Policy compliance.

Consistently strong performance may help sellers maintain a positive marketplace presence.

32. Fraud Prevention

Fraudulent activity is prohibited.

Sellers must not use:

  • Fake orders.
  • Fraudulent transactions.
  • Stolen payment information.
  • Fabricated delivery records.
  • False verification documents.
  • Manipulated refund requests.
  • Fake customer accounts.

Olibaa may investigate unusual account or transaction activity.

33. Account Restrictions

Olibaa may restrict seller features or listings when reasonably necessary to protect customers, payment systems, marketplace security or platform integrity.

Depending on the seriousness of an issue, action may include:

  • Listing removal.
  • Listing restriction.
  • Seller warning.
  • Temporary account limitation.
  • Payment review.
  • Seller account suspension.

34. Account Suspension or Termination

Serious or repeated policy violations may result in seller account suspension or termination.

Possible reasons include:

  • Repeated counterfeit product complaints.
  • Fraud.
  • Serious non-delivery issues.
  • Unsafe or prohibited products.
  • Repeated intellectual property violations.
  • Abusive customer behavior.
  • Payment manipulation.
  • Refusal to cooperate with serious marketplace investigations.

Where appropriate, sellers may be provided with information regarding the relevant issue and any available review process.

35. Seller Account Closure

A seller may request closure of a seller account subject to outstanding marketplace obligations.

Open orders, pending returns, refunds, disputes, unpaid fees or other unresolved matters may need to be completed before final closure.

Account closure does not automatically remove obligations relating to transactions completed before closure.

36. Privacy and Customer Data

Sellers must protect customer information.

Customer information may include:

  • Name.
  • Phone number.
  • Email address.
  • Delivery address.
  • Order information.

Customer information must not be sold, publicly disclosed, improperly shared or used for unrelated marketing without a valid basis.

Sellers should take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to customer information.

37. Dispute Resolution

Where a disagreement occurs regarding an order, product, delivery, return, refund, warranty or other marketplace matter, customers and sellers should cooperate in good faith.

Olibaa may review relevant information including:

  • Order records.
  • Product listing information.
  • Messages.
  • Delivery information.
  • Photos and videos.
  • Serial numbers.
  • Inspection results.
  • Payment information.

Olibaa may determine the appropriate marketplace resolution based on the available evidence and applicable policies.

38. Seller Best Practices

Recommended seller practices:

  • Keep listings accurate and updated.
  • Use clear product photographs.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Use transparent pricing.
  • Package products securely.
  • Process orders promptly.
  • Respond professionally to customers.
  • Honor advertised warranties.
  • Keep supplier and product documentation where appropriate.
  • Review seller policies regularly.

39. Policy Changes

Olibaa may update this Seller Policy as marketplace operations, seller tools, categories, payment methods, delivery arrangements, customer protection requirements or applicable legal requirements change.

Material updates may be communicated through the website, seller dashboard, email or other reasonable channels.

Sellers are encouraged to review marketplace policies periodically.

40. Seller Support

Sellers who need assistance regarding account verification, listings, orders, settlement, refunds, disputes, marketplace features or policy requirements should use Olibaa's official seller or customer support channels.

When contacting support, sellers should provide relevant information such as order numbers, product information, screenshots and other supporting evidence where appropriate.

Final Seller Agreement

Selling on Olibaa is based on trust between customers, sellers and the marketplace. Sellers are expected to provide accurate information, offer genuine products, fulfill orders responsibly, protect customer information, respect intellectual property, cooperate with eligible returns and refunds, and follow applicable marketplace requirements.

By continuing to list or sell products through Olibaa, the seller confirms that they understand and agree to comply with this Seller Policy and other applicable Olibaa policies.
